Rugged Ruapehu is an Ode to the Tongariro National Park in the Central North Island of New Zealand and celebrates Mt Ruapehu, the National Park and Lake Taupo. David wanted to honor this unique are of New Zealand by representing it on a recycled Snow Board which brought its own set of unique problems to work through being curved not flat
